Painted on a Van Go Transportation van, as an homage to the painter Vincent van Gogh.

Commissioned by Van Go Transportation, Los Angeles.

When I saw one day a passing white van that read the words Van Go Transportation I was naturally reminded by the artist Vincent van Gogh. I immediately gave a call to the company and offered to copy the known artist’s artwork onto one of the company’s vans.

Luckily, the owner was enthusiastic about my idea and the project was executed in Los Angeles, outdoors, in an open parking lot. It received plenty of public attention.

Coincidently, the work was completed on July 29, the day Vincent van Gogh passed away.
