Once called the Paris of the South, Mobile, Alabama has been the cultural center of the Gulf Coast. It is a colorful, vibrant, friendly and safe town.

I visited Mobile in November, right after the election of 2020. Still festive and busy, it seems like people keep a social distance and wear face masks only in stores and before they begin to eat in restaurants. In the many parks around the city and in the streets, people were acting normal, and that had made my life as a traveler much easier.

I decided to mix photos from the Public Safety Memorial Park, Fresh Market, and Zoes Kitchen, so contrasts will be more obvious.
